Working the Legs in Standing Poses

The first short video is showing one way that you can practice to get the legs perpendicular in Uttanasana and also use it in Prasarita Padottansana.

It allows you to feel what perpendicular legs feel like at the wall and then move away from wall and recreate the same sensation.

It is the top 1/3 of the thigh muscle we have to find action in. This is in fact ask for in all standing poses...compare when practicing them also.

Working the Legs in Inversions

In the second short video the emphasis is on how to get the middle buttock/sacrum area to move into the body rather than poking back in Salamba Sarvangasana. It is common for practitioners to be in a slight pike position and struggle to get this area in and keep it there.
