With Thanksgiving and holidays coming up, we are all going to be busy with family and work get-togethers and holiday parties. Yoga is not something we look forward to after a heavy meal - but this simple and easy yoga pose will help get your digestive juices flowing while you rest!

Supta Virasana works on the stomach meridians which run down the thigh muscle which allows for increasing space in the belly area and helps digestion. Please check out videos below for 2 variations of this pose.

With Chair

Even if you have no yoga experience, you can try out this variation using a chair. If knees are painful, you can try the pose by keeping your legs straight rather than kneeling down.

With Bolster

Already a seasoned yoga practitioner? You can try the variation of the pose kneeling on the floor and using bolsters.
